THE WATCH
Here we have a currently sold our BNIB Timex E Series 1983 reissue in the hard to get Tiffany Turquoise dial colorway. This is a classic 1970's design created as a modern version of the original vintage Timex E series. First released in 1983, the Timex Automatic E-Line is a classic dress watch best known for it's rounded square "TV Dial" case shape. Keeping to the vintage sizing, but with some modern updates, it wears beautifully on the wrist and stays very faithful to the original design. This modern color variation pairs a brushed and polished stainless steel case with a matching stretch bracelet that uses Timex's Perfect Fit technology for added comfort. Inside beats the reliable Miyota caliber 8215 automatic movement, featuring 21 jewels. The watch is topped with a vintage style flat acrylic crustal, giving it an authentic retro feel. The Turquoise dial is clean and balanced, with applied hour makers, a printed minute track, and a neatly integrated date window at 3 o'clock.

THOUGHTS
Being born in 1983 myself, I naturally have a soft spot for this watch, but even setting that aside, Timex has been putting out some real gems lately and this E-Series classis TV style reissue is one of their best. The Tiffany Turquoise dial colorway you see here has been consistently sold out on the Timex website and most retailers, which says alot about the buzz these models are creating. What I love most is how well balanced the design feels. It captures the vintage charm perfectly while still offering modern reliability. Many reissues drift away from the original designs, but this one stays remarkably true to the 1983 E-Series, right down to the TV style case, acrylic crystal, and retro stretch bracelet. If you have always wanted a cool vintage watch but have hesitated because of the fragility that comes with older pieces, this is the perfect answer. It gives you the full retro vibe without the worry. With the demand as high as it's been, I'd suggest grabbing one while you still can! The vintage vibes are strong with this one!
