The Hamilton Quartz reference 710002-3 from the early 1980's is a definitive watch from a pivot able era in horological history, the late 1970's to early 1980's. Following Hamilton's transition to Swiss production, this model represents the brands high tier response to the quartz crisis, blending traditional Swiss craftsmanship with what was then cutting edge electronic precision. It features an all original classic integrated stainless steel case and bracelet design, a crisp white roman numeral dial, and features a day date complication. The stainless steel case is in excellent condition for its age and displays honest wear consistent with a vintage timepiece of this ear. The original and rare Hamilton bracelet is also in great condition with adjustable clasp for length adjustment. The mineral crystal shows no major scratches or dings. The beautiful crisp white dial is impeccable and shows no major signs of significant wear or aging. The dial features a functional day date complication, dotted minute markers, and roman numeral hours. Inside beats the esteemed ESA Caliber 940.111, a seven jewel High end Swiss quartz movement from the "Flatline" series, noted for its robustness and reliability. The movement is exceptionally clean with no visible battery leakage or corrosion on the Swiss V8 circuit board. The watch is keeping excellent time and all functions work appropriately.
